The size and population of Fort Hood makes it one of the largest military bases in the world! Its size allows for monumental training capabilities for two armored divisions. Fort Hood Housing and Schools

With such a large base the schools and communities are many! All of the housing neighborhoods are located in the same central vicinity. There is one off-post/on-post housing area that is easily accessible and just beyond the Clear Creek Gate. Fort Hood offers an Early College High School for grades 9 and 10 then attend a Senior High School. There is an option to an associate’s degree option alongside your high school diploma.
